I got to see Nana again this past weekend! She came to visit me while Mommy and Daddy had “date night.” I am not sure what “date night” is but I don’t really care because I got to hang out with Nana. We went for a walk (not me walking on my own just yet, I was in the stroller), I swung in my swing and we played with my toys. Nana even helped me learn the word for “nose” and “mouth.” I can point to it when someone asks me to. Unless, of course, I am distracted by something more interesting then I just ignore the request.
On Saturday night I had trouble sleeping again. Do you know where this is headed? Luckily “data night’ was over at 8 pm and did not include any extra glasses of wine so Mommy had enough sleep when I summoned her with my cries at 1:30 am. I was coughing and crying and screaming and Mommy and Daddy thought I had croop again. At first I only wanted her to stand and hold me, but eventually she let me lay down with her in the spare bedroom. She piled pillows all around us and she sat up to sleep, looking kinda like a queen in the big chair. She tried to get me to lay on her chest and sleep. Have I mentioned that I have a hard time getting comfortable and constantly change positions? Well, it was not the most restful night for either of us. I did not have croop, though, so that was good.
