You know how I told you that I was sick? I went to the doctor that night and the doctor wanted me to get a chest x-ray and a blood test. Because I was feeling much better by then and I really hated the chest x-ray I had in January, the doctor said that we could wait until the next day…You know what happened then? I woke up with a fever of 103.5 degrees! Needless to say, I got the chest x-ray and blood test. Daddy took the morning shift again so he had to take me to get the “procedures.” But don’t worry, when Mommy got home in the afternoon, she had to take me to the doctor after the results came back. The doctor suspected that I had pneumonia. I got a prescription and Mommy and I went home. Even after the first dose of the medicine I started feeling better. I woke up the next morning without a fever but still I stayed home on Wednesday. Mommy took the morning shift. Guess what we did? We ran a few errands. I love to shop, I really perked up after our errands. I took a really good nap and when I woke up Daddy was home. I was back to myself by then and ready to get back to school! Even though Daddy and Mommy are great people and relatively fun, they are not nearly as entertaining as my teachers and my friends as school.
I went back to school on Thursday feeling myself again. On Saturday we went to see Grandma and Papa too. It was a really fun, as always. I got to watch a movie on the way (I call it a “video” and can say it pretty well if I don’t say so myself. I am beginning to say so myself quite a bit too!). When we got there after I ate a good lunch, I took a long nap! I never take a good nap at Grandma and Papa’s because I am so excited to see them. That afternoon we went to Costco, like we always do. After that we made a special trip to one of the apartment buildings that Grandma and Papa own. I loved running around in the rooms and open all of the doors. I am not afraid of stairs either, so Daddy and Mommy had to be especially careful as I run right to them. After that fun, we went back to Grandma and Papa’s for dinner and then bed for me. I went to bed and actually went to sleep. I don’t know if you remember, but I have a hard time sleeping at Grandma and Papa’s because I don’t want to miss any of the fun. Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Papa watched a funny movie called “Mama Mia” where people ran around singing all over a beautiful island. Mommy and Daddy found out that Grandma’s favorite band is Abba. It’s wild the things you learn when you don’t expect it. Back to me. I slept well that night and woke up in good spirits. We had a good breakfast then went to the mall. We did not go there to shop but to walk. I mainly rode in my stroller, which I love. You know what it reminded me of? It reminded me of the time when Mommy and I were home together. Except she and I did not walk at the mall, we walked outside in our neighborhood. It was really fun walking at the mall though. It was not very crowded (Grandma said there are many more people there on the weekdays).
