We arrived home from our New York “Raincation” (named because it rained the whole time, of course) and jumped immediately back into work and school. I was glad to be back with my teachers, Miss Gina, Miss Shayla and Miss Nisha along with my friends. When I got home from school on the following Monday, though, I was a bit clingy to Mommy. After spending that much time with her, I missed her during the day!
Trip to Nana’s house:
Mommy and I drove to Dayton on Tuesday after we returned to have a cook-out for James’ birthday. He and I have the same birthday, but we all wanted to make sure that James had a special dinner for his special day. Then guess what happened? I stayed in Dayton at Nana’s house for the night and the whole next day. We had such a good time, but you would assume this because Nana is so fun. We played with Lilly, we went to the store and just laughed and giggled like we always do. Then, on Wednesday, Nana, James and I went to the Newport Aquarium to see the fish. James is great with me and we enjoyed the hour visit. This is about how long I last at the aquarium at this point. I am still afraid of the fish swimming over my head, but am more interested in the fish in the big glass containers.
