About Me

My name is Abigail Elizabeth Connor, otherwise known as "Little Miss Sunshine." I was born on July 10, 2007 at 1:42 pm. Although some might think that my adventures were about to begin at the moment of my birth, I had already had many adventures! This is my way of sharing my newest adventures and travels with my family and friends.

My Birthday! July 10, 2009

Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday dear Abigail, Happy birthday to me! I love to have people sing happy birthday to me. I look from face to face and giggle, then say “more!” I can tell you that I am two years old. I can actually count to ten, but I know that I am two and can tell you. My birthday was on Friday this year. Mommy took a bottle of bubbles for us all to play with and a special hat for me to wear. The bubbles were fun and everyone wanted my hat so Mommy said that maybe next year we would wear the hat around the house versus at school. Mommy and Nana picked me up for lunch, which I found to be very confusing. My class started eating lunch but I just got to have a little fruit. We went to a place called McCallisters. Mommy and Nana seemed to have fun, but I got mad half way through and cried for most of lunch. When we got back to school, everyone was already lying down for naptime. I went right to my bed and got on it, but then was very upset. It was another key learning for Mommy, maybe not the best thing to disrupt my day. Later that afternoon, Grandma (which sounds like mamma) and Papa picked me up from school! That was really fun, but then I had to go to the doctor. Why do I have to go to the doctor on my birthday? I could help my parents if they would make some minor adjustments to schedules, like DON’T TAKE ME TO THE DOCTOR ON MY BIRTHDAY! I got another shot but otherwise the doctor said I was doing very well!

That night Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Papa all sang happy birthday to me (several times). Mommy had a cupcake for me too. I might care about something like this later in my life, but right now I don’t; Mommy got the cupcake (with a sign that says “Happy Birthday” on it) from work because someone else had a birthday and brought them in. I mainly like the icing anyway.

Baby and stroller:
GrandmaPapa (I usually say couples’ names all in one word) gave me a baby that talks and moves and a baby stroller too! I love “Baby” (another doll named Baby) and played with her all night and all the next day. She has a pacy and a bottle that makes her stop talking and moving, although it is hard to get them into her mouth. Sometimes I put the pacy into my mouth too, and that makes me happy but does not quiet her. I also know that I am not supposed to do this so I have to walk away from MommyDaddy and GrandmaPapa so they do not see. The pacy is also on a very short string so it’s a little difficult to get the pacy in my mouth and hold Baby at the same time.
