On Saturday (July 11th if you got confused from all of the excited on my birthday), I played and played with Baby, GrandmaPapa and MommyDaddy. In the afternoon, Nana and Papaw came over too! We cooked out and I got more presents. Nana gave me some toys and a few outfits. Since I am two, I care about the toys and ignore the clothes. The most interesting part about clothes is pulling them out of the gift bag.
The other thing I got for my birthday was a cold. Do you remember what this means? It means that I got a fever and coughed and coughed and coughed. I do not follow the “7-10 days” business either. I started taking both of my breathing medicines again too. I did not go to the doctor and have to get chest x-rays this time, though. At least not yet.
The week after my birthday I got to go visit Nana again. This time she picked me up in the morning and I got to spend two whole days with her. We went to Wal-Mart, garage sales and Lowes. Her friend Julie came over to visit too. On Thursday night, MommyDaddy met us in Dayton for dinner and picked me up. They were so excited to see me that they ran to the car and cheered. I cried desperately for Nana in return. The reason they came to Dayton, though, was because we bought a new car! Daddy now has a Honda-CRV. I love to call out when I see it “Abigail’s new car!”
