About Me

My name is Abigail Elizabeth Connor, otherwise known as "Little Miss Sunshine." I was born on July 10, 2007 at 1:42 pm. This is my way of sharing my newest adventures and travels with my family and friends.

Hilton Head - Wednesday, October 21, 2009

Momma went to her aqua fitness class again on Wednesday. Nana went with her this time. After the class, I got to go swimming with Nana. I loved to jump and jump into her arms too! Daddy and Grandpa went golfing on Wednesday morning, so they were not there for the fun times.

There were not many activities on Wednesday, so instead we made our own activities. Instead of eating in our villa, we made a picnic lunch and ate outside by the beach. We brought my tricycle and I rode it all around. As you can imagine, I am a big hit with the many grandparents who come to stay at places like the Marriott’s Barony Beach and Vacation Club. They all talk to me and ask me what I am doing and tell me how pretty and sweet I am. Of course I already know this, but it’s nice to hear.

Guess what we did after my nap? We went to the beach. This time I was better at walking on the sand (it works better for me if I am carried across the dry sand that is harder to walk in and really gets into my toes). I don’t mind walking on the hard sand close to the water because it is hard like the concrete by the pool. Momma, Daddy and I made some sand sculptures too. Actually, I mainly supervised. Daddy and I walked to the ocean several times to get more water. Daddy used it for his castle, and I used it to pour out wherever I felt was right. This is a cool thing about being on a beach. You can also run and run and never run out of room. Momma made a turtle, an alligator and a flamingo creation out of the sand.

After our jaunt on the beach (which was a bit short because it was windy and a bit cold), we headed in to the pool area. We met more fun people, including some who live in Centerville, where Nana lives!

That night we did not grill, but instead made our pot pie. It was warm and a good night for grilling, but we brought all of the stuff and we were not taking it home. We love our pot pie anyway. Nana made a new treat too, her artichoke dip. We will need to add it to our list of necessities.

After dinner, we had ice cream sundaes with the brownies we made. Note to the adults. Too much sugar keeps a child awake.
