Materialism

I understand materialism. Okay, I might know understand the exact definition, but I get the idea. I watch TV and for most every commercial (just not the scary ones), I ask “can we do that some day”. Mommy blankly answers “yes, we can do that someday”. I have not called her on this yet, and she thinks that she is covered because she is not saying “we will buy that” someday. Just wait. I have also started looking at catalogues and point out what I want to get for Christmas. I have decided that my current kitchen (that I received from Santa last Christmas) is not good enough and I want to switch it out. I have moved on from Mommy and on to Grandma. Mommy said that it would have to stay at Grandma and Papa’s house, so I don’t know if that is going to work. I don’t really play with my kitchen that much right now, but the one I saw is pink. Pink/Purple are my favorite colors so I want everything to be in my favorite colors.
