About Me

My name is Abigail Elizabeth Connor, otherwise known as "Little Miss Sunshine." I was born on July 10, 2007 at 1:42 pm. Mama's birthday - January 2011

It snowed on Mama’s birthday. Luckily, my school rarely closes and Mama and Daddy believe that unless the government tells them not to drive on the roads, they should get to work. Her new team is a fun team, too, and they had a balloon, sign, brownies and fun card when she got to work. It’s a small, enclosed area so the cheers and celebration were abounding and not distracting to masses of people. For lunch, they walked across the parking lot and street to a place called Blue Ash Chili, which was also featured in the show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. She ate way too much of her delicious sandwich (philly cheese steak with chili on top) and onion rings. The heartburn was worth it though. She only ate half the sandwich too!
It did snow and Mama picked me up early from school so we could go home and shovel the snow from the driveway with Daddy. Of course we played in the snow too! I love to play in the snow! And I am a very good helper with Daddy, shoveling the driveway. Mama made one of her favorite meals “breakfast for dinner” with eggs and pancakes. Daddy surprised her and guess what he got her for a present? Tickets to the Sarah McLachlan concert in Louisville in March! I think they are really groupies now! We also bought her a few new CDs – she loves music, just like I do.

On the Sunday after Mama’s birthday, we met Nana for dinner at Outback in Centerville. This is one of Mama’s favorite birthday places and she was just in the mood for it, even though it was cold and Nana said she would come to Cincinnati to see us. Nana had a surprise for me at dinner. She made my baby some clothes! I did not realize that Baby needed more clothes, but Nana seemed pretty excited about them, so I went with it. After dinner, we all went to Marshall’s. We didn’t find anything but I got to try on a few things, which I love to do. I love to look at myself in the big, long mirror.

Enough about Mama. I love music. I love “loud” songs, which means fast songs that we can dance to and play very loudly. Daddy is not so much of a fan of this music. Boy is he in for it. I know how to turn the stereo on and up, but I don’t know how (and don’t care to know how) to turn it down. I love to “dance” – and this has a variety of definitions. Sometimes it actually means me dancing, using some of my moves I learn from school or Webby Dance (Mama and Daddy are not quite sure which). Much of the time it means me wanting to “jump”, which means I do little jumping and Mama does much lifting of me into the air. She has started counting to 5 or 10, but I either tell her to stop counting or just ignore her and whine if she stops. I have other definitions of “dancing” and they almost always include Mama participating. I prefer to dance with her than dance alone. Daddy sometimes dances too, but he seems to prefer to watch us and eventually will ask us to turn down the music.

I can spell and write my name. I can tell you how it’s spelled pretty well, and there is a dramatic improvement in my writing as well. I sign my thank you cards by myself these days. I love to color. When I color, I want the entire picture to be complete and I use a variety of colors. I am pretty good at staying in the lines too.

I am a very good “baby mama.” “Baby” – my baby doll, of course, is well cared for. I have many diapers and blankets for her. I hold her and rock her and tell her it’s okay. Sometimes I do throw her on the ground or forget her as my attention moves to something more interesting. I have not changed Baby’s new clothes yet, even though I heard Nana talking about making me more clothes for Baby.
